How We Can Help

Bucks County LIFE (Living In Family Environments) is a team of both experienced parents and professionals who work closely with families to offer invaluable support as well as provide information and referral resources. We are a free program to Bucks County families with children up to age 26. Diagnosis and insurance is not required. We offer one-on-one support, trainings, and various events.

You don’t have to know what type of help you need to reach out. Our team will listen to your specific needs and guide you to the right support.

We provide support in 3 specific ways:

Family Support Specialists

Our Family Support Specialists are parents, who have a lived experience with their own children who have had challenges and struggles. They understand how to help families navigate the child/adult serving systems. This is done in a supportive, parent-to parent relationship.

Peer Support Specialist for Youth/Young Adult

Our peer support specialist provides direct support in guiding youth/young adults ages 14-26 through the youth/adult serving systems. The peer specialist will focus on empowering and educating the youth/young adult to advocate for themselves with the school and agencies that support them and allow them to thrive within their community.

Peer specialists have a lived experience with their own mental health struggles, and mentor young people going through similar journeys.

Administrative Case Management

Our Administrative Case Manager takes an individualized approach in providing support to address the specific needs of each youth, young adult, and family. By focusing on the child and family’s strengths and collaboratively working with any number of services and systems, the Administrative Case Manager strives to achieve the best outcomes for each child. The Administrative Case Manager is able to provide support to any Bucks County family who has a child in need of resources, supportive services and case management.
