Access Services’ Provider Recruitment team is taking all necessary precautions to protect the health and safety of our valued providers. Precautions include temperature checks, gloves, masks, and limited face to face meetings with multiple options to meet virtually or over the phone.
Access Services is looking for compassionate families to share their lives with a local child or adult looking for a nurturing and supportive family environment.
As a foster parent or Lifesharing provider, you will provide a caring, stable, long-term or short-term home for a child or an adult who does not currently live with their natural family. Support, training and monetary compensation are provided to those who are able to share their lives with an individual in need. When interested families learn how to become a foster parent or Lifesharing provider, they not only enrich the lives of individuals needing a loving, stable environment, but their own personal perspective is widened.
Foster Care provides the healing and nurturing a child requires within a family environment, in which we believe is the best place for any child to grow, develop, and flourish. Foster Parents take on the professional, yet loving role of healer and nurturer for infants, children, and teenagers who are in need of direction and stability in their lives.

As a Lifesharing Provider you will have the opportunity to open your home and share your life with an adult with intellectual disabilities. Your support and assistance will enrich an individual’s life by affording them the opportunity to become a fully participating member of their community and empowering them to reach for and achieve their goals and aspirations.
By becoming a Respite Provider, you’ll be welcoming an adult or child into your home on a temporary basis. Your compassionate support and care to someone with an intellectual disability will ensure an enjoyable respite experience while setting their primary caregiver’s mind at ease.
