The Youth Outdoor Expedition (YOE) program provides recreational activity for adolescents aged 13-17 who experience delinquency, truancy, drug or alcohol related dependencies, conflicts at home, mental illness or other health and safety problems. Activities are chosen to build character, self-esteem and leadership while focusing on teamwork, problem solving, overcoming adversity and developing conflict resolution skills. Participants learn how to camp, climb, hike, fish, swim, canoe and develop other practical skills.
