Growing together.

Access Services’ Community Homes provide a nurturing environment, offering up to 24-hour supervision to individuals with developmental disabilities. The focus of our Community Homes is to meet each individual’s physical, emotional, spiritual and social needs. Specific emphasis is placed on community participation and personal growth within the community.

Community as a catalyst for change.

L.I.F.E. Day Support is an innovative program that helps developmentally disabled adults develop functional skills and discover their talents through volunteer work. Through our experience we have found that controlled experiences in volunteer settings stimulate developmentally disabled individuals in ways that traditional work experiences cannot. With guidance and support, these experiences become opportunities for developmentally disabled individuals to grow and build confidence. Individuals in the L.I.F.E program learn social, community, personal and vocational skills.

An independent lifestyle.

For adults with developmental disabilities living independently in the community, Access Services provides Supported Living options. Staff members will work to ensure the health, safety and community fellowship of the individual they are caring for using resources within the community.

Quality living starts with the basics.

In-Home Supports caregivers provide individualized support for adults with developmental disability and children, helping them to set personal goals and learn the basic skills of day-to-day living. In doing so, we seek to improve care recipients’ overall quality of life and support the entire family. Ultimately, the program is intended to encourage personal growth and teach recipients to become contributing and active members of their communities.

Safe for them. Necessary for you.

In our experience we have found that it is important to strike a balance between personal time and time spent caring for others. For those caring for an adult with developmental disabilities, we offer a safe and sensible way to take a break from the pressure and stress of your daily care routine. Respite Services will provide a temporary home for your loved one, with a qualified Access Services Host Family, capable of meeting all of his or her personal needs.
