Community Supports Program

Support Staff - Part Time
We currently have part time opportunities available to work late afternoons/early evenings and flexible weekend hours averaging three to five hours per shift. Due to travel, a current driver’s license and car are required. Full time positions offer excellent benefits including health/dental/vision insurance and tuition assistance.

In Home Intensive Counseling Program

Tutors/Mentors
We are seeking Tutors/Mentors with experience working with adolescents in an educational setting. Tutoring services are provided to juveniles in the community or in their home. A Bachelor's degree is preferred as well as a demonstrated ability to work as part of a team. Must have a valid PA driver’s license and use of a car.  Afternoon and evening hours are available Monday through Friday.

Lifesharing/Respite Programs

Coordinator
We currently have a full time opportunity for an individual to coordinate services in a community based Lifesharing program for individuals with developmental disabilities living in and around Berks County. Also responsible for screening and securing the services of qualified Respite providers in Berks County. Conducting home studies on all potential Respite and Lifesharing providers, and screening all consumers referred to either the Respite or Lifesharing programs in Berks County.

Preferred Minimum Qualifications:  Bachelor’s Degree in a related field including human services, special education, psychology or social work and one year of direct care experience with individuals with developmental disabilities. Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team. Ability to maintain computer database information and to respond to emergency respite placement calls in a timely manner.

Hours: 40 hours per week. Monday through Friday flexible schedule.
