In 1996, the organization began providing services in Schuylkill County. In just a few short years, Orwigsburg-based programs have grown from a staff of 20 to almost 200, and now serve and enhance the lives of over 800 children, youth, adults and seniors each month. Employing Schuylkill and Carbon county residents, Access Services is an employer that strives to reward and recognize the hard work and great efforts of their talented and dedicated staff. The individuals who work with Access Services literally make a difference in and uplift the lives of the people they serve.

In addition the organization has been providing high quality and affordable evaluation, diagnostic, and counseling services through their Outpatient Counseling office to the Schuylkill county community since 1999. Access Service's psychiatrist associates and psychotherapists are expert in dealing with a variety of mental health disorders and currently see over 500 persons a month. Even with the success of seeing families stay together, children stay in school or get help for addiction, there is a continuing challenge to meet the financial challenges of subsidizing the cost of these services; especially those receiving medical assistance.
